First-Time Visitors

What to Expect

When you arrive, a greeter will welcome you at the door and help you find a seat. There is no dress code; come as you are.

The Order of Worship

  1. Call to Worship — We are called to worship by the Word of God.
  2. Hymn Singing — We praise God together with historic hymns and reverent contemporary songs (hymnal provided).
  3. Scripture Reading — We read the passage aloud together.
  4. Prayer — A leader prays on behalf of the congregation.
  5. Offering & Prayer — We give with grateful hearts and pray together.
  6. Sermon — The pastor preaches through the text of Scripture.
  7. Lord’s Supper — We remember the Lord’s death and share the bread and the cup together.
  8. Closing Prayer — We close the service in prayer.

We use the English Standard Version (ESV) of the Bible. Copies are available in the pew rack. Sermons follow a consecutive, book-by-book expository approach.

After the Service

After worship we share fellowship and lunch together, and first-time visitors are always welcome to join us. Elders and members will be glad to answer your questions and help you get connected.
